Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, mobile phone or other device when you visit a website. They allow the website or its service providers to recognise your device or browser and remember information, such as your preferences.
Depending on how long they last, cookies are either “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
This Policy also covers similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage and pixels.
Who uses cookies on the Website
The website m2selfstorage.gr (the “Website”) belongs to M2 SELF STORAGE ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. (single-member private company), trading as m² Self Storage, 17 Krystalli & 1 Damokleous Street, 121 31 Peristeri, Greece, VAT No. EL802444407, email info@m2selfstorage.gr.
We use cookies that are necessary for the Website to work and, only if you consent, cookies for statistics and for measuring and showing advertising. Some cookies are placed by third-party providers, such as Google and Meta.
Cookie categories and the cookies we use
Below you will find the cookie categories used on the Website and the cookies in each category, with their provider, purpose and duration.

These are needed for the Website to work and to remember the choices you make. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in the cookie settings.

Statistics (analytics)
These help us understand how the Website is used, for example how many visitors come, where they come from and which pages they view, so that we can improve it. They are set only with your consent.

These measure how well our advertising works and let us show relevant ads to people who have visited the Website, for example on Google, Facebook and Instagram. They are set only with your consent.

Third-party content
Some pages embed content from third parties, who may set their own cookies or process your IP address under their own policies:
- Google Maps — the maps showing our locations (e.g. Google’s NID cookie · 6 months)
- Trustindex — displays our Google reviews
Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent, as permitted by Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, because without them we cannot provide the Website and the functions you request.
All other cookies (statistics, advertising and campaign measurement) are used only with your prior consent (Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Continuing to browse does not count as consent.
How to give or change your consent
On your first visit, a banner gives you the options “Accept All”, “Reject All” and “Customize”, so that you can choose which cookie categories you accept. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie icon at the bottom left of the page, or here: Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any use before you withdrew it.
If you do not consent to statistics or advertising, Google’s tools run in “Consent Mode”: they do not set cookies, but they may send Google signals without identifiers (for example, that a visit took place) for aggregated measurement.
Third-party cookies and transfers
Information collected by third-party cookies (Google, Meta, Nimbata, CookieYes) is processed by those providers. Some of them, such as Google and Meta, may transfer it to the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell data collected through cookies. For more about recipients, your rights and how to exercise them, please read our Privacy Policy.
Cookie settings in your browser
In addition to the Website’s cookie settings, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the Website may not work properly. Instructions for the most widely used browsers:
